# Timesheet vs Work Log

The clearest difference is monetization model: Work Log at free with in-app purchases against Timesheet's subscription. Timesheet's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (104 vs 19). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timesheet sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Work Log sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Timesheet against 4.7 for Work Log. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timesheet has 104 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Timesheet ships an update weekly, Work Log every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
