# iGuard vs Web Guard

iGuard and Web Guard both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Web Guard's written reviews are positive against 20% of iGuard's. Web Guard also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). iGuard's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown).
