# Erg Dude 2 vs Pathbound

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pathbound at every 4 days against Erg Dude 2's every 5 weeks. Erg Dude 2's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Erg Dude 2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pathbound sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Erg Dude 2 ships an update every 5 weeks, Pathbound every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
