# Glitter Store vs Elixir Cosmetic

The clearest difference is rating: Elixir Cosmetic at 5.0 against Glitter Store's 4.5. Elixir Cosmetic also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Glitter Store's advantage is ratings volume (86 vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elixir Cosmetic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glitter Store has 86 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Glitter Store ships an update every 3 months, Elixir Cosmetic every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
