# NREMT vs EMT Certification Prep Test

The clearest difference is update cadence: EMT Certification Prep Test at every 4 months against NREMT's every 10 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NREMT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and EMT Certification Prep Test sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NREMT ships an update every 10 months, EMT Certification Prep Test every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
