# TimeByte vs 五彩日记

The clearest difference is update cadence: 五彩日记 at every 6 days against TimeByte's every 2 months. 五彩日记 also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeByte sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 五彩日记 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeByte ships an update every 2 months, 五彩日记 every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
