# Peek vs Whencee

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Whencee at none against Peek's 11. Whencee also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Peek's advantage is ratings volume (9.5K vs 1) and chart position (#171 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Peek sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whencee asks for nothing beyond the download.

Whencee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Peek has 9.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Peek ships an update every 3 days, Whencee every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
