# Stack Coins! vs Screw Stars

Stack Coins! and Screw Stars both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Screw Stars's written reviews are positive against 33% of Stack Coins!'s. Screw Stars also leads on ratings volume (896 vs 158). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stack Coins! sells 21 one-off in-app purchases and Screw Stars sells 19 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stack Coins! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screw Stars has 896 ratings behind it against 158, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Stack Coins!'s written reviews are positive against 75% of Screw Stars's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stack Coins! ships an update every 5 days, Screw Stars every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
