# Countdown Widget vs Daystub

The clearest difference is update cadence: Daystub at every 3 days against Countdown Widget's every 3 months. Daystub also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Daystub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown Widget ships an update every 3 months, Daystub every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
