# Flower Language vs YardPaint

The clearest difference is monetization model: YardPaint at freemium against Flower Language's subscription. YardPaint also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Flower Language's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 2) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flower Language sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and YardPaint sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YardPaint holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flower Language has 2.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Flower Language's written reviews are positive against 100% of YardPaint's.

Flower Language ships an update weekly, YardPaint every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
