# O'Tacos vs Chef Compass

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chef Compass at every 4 days against O'Tacos's every 6 months. O'Tacos's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

O'Tacos ships an update every 6 months, Chef Compass every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
