# Happ vs NOX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NOX at 100% against Happ's 58%. NOX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). Happ's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 15) and chart position (#10 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NOX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Happ has 20K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of Happ's written reviews are positive against 100% of NOX's.

Happ ships an update every 9 days, NOX every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
