# Samawa Idle vs Candybox

The clearest difference is ads: Candybox at none against Samawa Idle's shown. Candybox also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 6 days). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Samawa Idle sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Candybox sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Samawa Idle holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 25 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Samawa Idle's written reviews are positive against 44% of Candybox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Samawa Idle ships an update every 6 days, Candybox daily. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
