# Heylixir vs Gutsphere

The clearest difference is update cadence: Heylixir at every 2 weeks against Gutsphere's every 3 months. Heylixir also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.1). Gutsphere's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Heylixir sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Gutsphere sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Heylixir holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gutsphere has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Heylixir ships an update every 2 weeks, Gutsphere every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
