# Torque Pro vs Console Guide

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Console Guide at 100% against Torque Pro's 6%. Console Guide also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Torque Pro's advantage is ratings volume (520 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Torque Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Console Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Console Guide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Torque Pro has 520 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 6% of Torque Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of Console Guide's.

Torque Pro ships an update fortnightly, Console Guide every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
