# Hour vs Scriptonius

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scriptonius at every 3 days against Hour's every 4 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hour sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Scriptonius sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hour ships an update every 4 weeks, Scriptonius every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
