# LifeTicker vs CountFree

The clearest difference is rating: CountFree at 5.0 against LifeTicker's 4.6. LifeTicker's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LifeTicker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and CountFree sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CountFree holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LifeTicker has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LifeTicker ships an update weekly, CountFree every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
