# RainNovel vs 淘阅读

The clearest difference is update cadence: RainNovel at every 3 weeks against 淘阅读's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RainNovel sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 淘阅读 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.69 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RainNovel ships an update every 3 weeks, 淘阅读 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
