# Soildrops vs AI Video

The clearest difference is rating: AI Video at 4.5 against Soildrops's 3.0. AI Video also leads on ratings volume (22 vs 6). Soildrops's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 50%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soildrops sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and AI Video sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Video holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Soildrops's written reviews are positive against 50% of AI Video's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Soildrops ships an update every 2 weeks, AI Video monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
