# Alive Widgets vs Koco Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Koco Widgets at 4.6 against Alive Widgets's 3.7. Koco Widgets also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (333 vs 3). Alive Widgets's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alive Widgets sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Koco Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Koco Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Koco Widgets has 333 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Alive Widgets's written reviews are positive against 70% of Koco Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
