# MX Player vs MiCubaRed

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MiCubaRed at none against MX Player's 3. MX Player's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (490 vs 5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MX Player sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. MiCubaRed asks for nothing beyond the download.
