# Cig vs SmokeTracker

The clearest difference is ads: Cig at none against SmokeTracker's shown. SmokeTracker's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cig ships an update every 6 weeks, SmokeTracker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
