# NDI Switcher vs ProScope Capture

The clearest difference is rating: ProScope Capture at 5.0 against NDI Switcher's 1.0. ProScope Capture also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). NDI Switcher's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.2). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NDI Switcher sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ProScope Capture sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NDI Switcher ships an update every 3 months, ProScope Capture every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
