# Mindrift vs Task2k

The clearest difference is rating: Task2k at 4.0 against Mindrift's 2.7. Task2k also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.4). Mindrift's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Task2k holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindrift has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
