# dbt vs CHANG

The clearest difference is rating: dbt at 4.9 against CHANG's 1.0. dbt also leads on ratings volume (67 vs 2). CHANG's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

dbt holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: dbt has 67 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 53% and 52% positive.

dbt ships an update every 2 months, CHANG fortnightly. Both last shipped on September 28, 2026.
