# PlayTime Scheduler vs Smithfield TPC

The clearest difference is rating: PlayTime Scheduler at 4.5 against Smithfield TPC's 4.0. PlayTime Scheduler also leads on ratings volume (252 vs 1). Smithfield TPC's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayTime Scheduler sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. Smithfield TPC asks for nothing beyond the download.

PlayTime Scheduler holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayTime Scheduler has 252 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of PlayTime Scheduler's written reviews are positive against 100% of Smithfield TPC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
