# PlayTime Scheduler vs TUFFC

The clearest difference is monetization model: PlayTime Scheduler at freemium against TUFFC's subscription. PlayTime Scheduler also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and review sentiment (86% vs 50%). TUFFC's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayTime Scheduler sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year and TUFFC sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlayTime Scheduler holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayTime Scheduler has 252 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of PlayTime Scheduler's written reviews are positive against 50% of TUFFC's.

PlayTime Scheduler ships an update every 5 weeks, TUFFC weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
