# Timber Squad vs Forgeland

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Timber Squad at 100% against Forgeland's 33%. Forgeland's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (595 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timber Squad sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Forgeland sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forgeland holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forgeland has 595 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Timber Squad's written reviews are positive against 33% of Forgeland's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timber Squad ships an update every 3 weeks, Forgeland every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
