# Sprinkle Sprinkle vs GhostPost

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GhostPost at none against Sprinkle Sprinkle's 1. GhostPost also leads on ratings volume (705 vs 14). Sprinkle Sprinkle's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sprinkle Sprinkle sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. GhostPost asks for nothing beyond the download.

GhostPost holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GhostPost has 705 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Sprinkle Sprinkle's written reviews are positive against 85% of GhostPost's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sprinkle Sprinkle ships an update every 2 days, GhostPost fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
