# 21 Letters vs Neutralize +

The clearest difference is rating: 21 Letters at 4.7 against Neutralize +'s 4.2. 21 Letters also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (64 vs 5). Neutralize +'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 82%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 21 Letters sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Neutralize + sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

21 Letters holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 21 Letters has 64 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of 21 Letters's written reviews are positive against 100% of Neutralize +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

21 Letters ships an update every 2 days, Neutralize + every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
