# VATER vs Agona

The clearest difference is update cadence: Agona at every 3 days against VATER's every 3 weeks. Agona also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (35 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Agona holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 35 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of VATER's written reviews are positive against 96% of Agona's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VATER ships an update every 3 weeks, Agona every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
