# Pedometer vs ClickPen

The clearest difference is ads: ClickPen at none against Pedometer's shown. ClickPen also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pedometer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and ClickPen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pedometer ships an update every 6 months, ClickPen weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
