# PlatoVPN Fast vs Tom VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tom VPN at 84% against PlatoVPN Fast's 29%. Tom VPN also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). PlatoVPN Fast's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlatoVPN Fast sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Tom VPN sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlatoVPN Fast holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5.8K and 1.5K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of PlatoVPN Fast's written reviews are positive against 84% of Tom VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PlatoVPN Fast ships an update every 5 weeks, Tom VPN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
