# TwinMind vs Notella

The clearest difference is monetization model: TwinMind at free against Notella's freemium. TwinMind also leads on ratings volume (927 vs 6) and review sentiment (78% vs 60%). Notella's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TwinMind sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Notella sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notella holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TwinMind has 927 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of TwinMind's written reviews are positive against 60% of Notella's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TwinMind ships an update weekly, Notella every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
