# LeaderTask vs BlurHash

The clearest difference is update cadence: LeaderTask at every 2 weeks against BlurHash's every 14 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LeaderTask sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year and BlurHash sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LeaderTask ships an update every 2 weeks, BlurHash every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
