# LeaderTask vs LiveTask

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LiveTask at none against LeaderTask's 7. LiveTask also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). LeaderTask's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LeaderTask sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. LiveTask asks for nothing beyond the download.

LiveTask holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LeaderTask has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LeaderTask ships an update every 2 weeks, LiveTask every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
