# Smart Printer vs Print Now

The clearest difference is rating: Print Now at 5.0 against Smart Printer's 4.0. Print Now also leads on ads (none vs shown). Smart Printer's advantage is ratings volume (500 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Printer sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Print Now sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Print Now holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Printer has 500 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smart Printer ships an update monthly, Print Now every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
