# BigPlan vs Akord

The clearest difference is update cadence: BigPlan at every 2 weeks against Akord's every 5 weeks. Akord's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BigPlan sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Akord sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BigPlan ships an update every 2 weeks, Akord every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
