# RapidTap vs DPCloud

RapidTap and DPCloud both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of DPCloud's written reviews are positive against 31% of RapidTap's. RapidTap's advantage is ratings volume (396 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RapidTap sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and DPCloud sells 42 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for RapidTap against 4.3 for DPCloud. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RapidTap has 396 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 31% of RapidTap's written reviews are positive against 86% of DPCloud's.

RapidTap ships an update monthly, DPCloud every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
