# Chapchat vs ACTS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chapchat at 100% against ACTS's 0%. Chapchat also leads on ads (none vs shown). ACTS's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chapchat sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and ACTS sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ACTS holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ACTS has 48 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Chapchat's written reviews are positive against 0% of ACTS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chapchat ships an update every 4 weeks, ACTS every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
