# Say AI vs SpeakMeta

The clearest difference is rating: SpeakMeta at 5.0 against Say AI's 4.3. SpeakMeta also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Say AI's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Say AI sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SpeakMeta sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpeakMeta holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Say AI has 70 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Say AI ships an update every 4 weeks, SpeakMeta every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
