# i vs keeps

The clearest difference is rating: keeps at 5.0 against i's 2.4. keeps also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). i's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (26 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. keeps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. i asks for nothing beyond the download.

keeps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: i has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

i ships an update every 3 months, keeps every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
