# Folderly vs TalkCue

The clearest difference is update cadence: Folderly at every 3 days against TalkCue's monthly. Folderly also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Folderly sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and TalkCue sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TalkCue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Folderly has 3.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Folderly ships an update every 3 days, TalkCue monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
