# Quick Notes vs Open Invite

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Notes at every 3 days against Open Invite's every 7 months. Quick Notes also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Notes sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Open Invite sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick Notes ships an update every 3 days, Open Invite every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
