# Quick Notes vs VLT

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Notes at every 3 days against VLT's fortnightly. VLT's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Notes sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and VLT sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick Notes ships an update every 3 days, VLT fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
