# Eventry vs Seed Identifier

The clearest difference is update cadence: Eventry at every 9 days against Seed Identifier's every 4 months. Seed Identifier's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eventry sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Seed Identifier sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eventry ships an update every 9 days, Seed Identifier every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
