# Almanac vs OnlyWidget

The clearest difference is price: Almanac at Free against OnlyWidget's $0.99. Almanac also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.5 vs 26.0). OnlyWidget's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Almanac is free to download; OnlyWidget costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OnlyWidget holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Almanac has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Almanac ships an update every 3 weeks, OnlyWidget fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
