# ExtraMile+ vs Where You Run

The clearest difference is ads: ExtraMile+ at none against Where You Run's shown. Where You Run's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ExtraMile+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Where You Run sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ExtraMile+ ships an update every 9 months, Where You Run every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
