# Buddha Tells vs ZestSSH

The clearest difference is update cadence: ZestSSH at every 2 days against Buddha Tells's every 3 weeks. Buddha Tells's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Buddha Tells sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and ZestSSH sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Buddha Tells ships an update every 3 weeks, ZestSSH every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
