# Scribe vs Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scribe at every 4 days against Note's every 3 weeks. Note's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scribe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scribe ships an update every 4 days, Note every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on July 27, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
